- FAME III expected to launch later in FY 2025–26
What Vehicles Are Covered Under FAME?
Eligible vehicle categories:
- Electric Scooters (e.g., Ola S1, TVS iQube, Ather 450)
- Electric Motorcycles
- E-Rickshaws & E-Carts
- Electric Auto Rickshaws
- Small Electric Cars (for commercial use)
- Electric Buses (for public transport)
- Light commercial EVs for cargo/logistics

Required Documents for EV Subsidy
- Aadhaar card / voter ID

How to Apply for FAME India Subsidy
Good news – you don’t need to apply separately. The subsidy is deducted directly from the price when you buy the EV from an authorised dealer.
