FAME India Scheme – EV Subsidy, Eligibility, How to Apply Online

Electric Future for Every Indian: FAME India Yojana is the Way Forward

In today’s fast-changing world, fuel prices are rising, and pollution is affecting every household. To solve both problems, the Indian Government started the FAME India Scheme – to support people who want to buy electric vehicles (EVs).

From students and delivery workers to families and senior citizens, electric vehicles are becoming the first choice. In 2025, the government has extended FAME II with revised subsidies for electric 2-wheelers, 3-wheelers, and 4-wheelers.

This scheme not only makes EVs cheaper but also promotes clean and green transportation for a better India.
